Description
This study identifies and explores some of the potential for tourism development that may be integrated into the cultural and environmental fabric of this model Adriatic Sea island. Funding for this study was provided by the Mag Foundation, an organization created by Anthony Maglica, founder of Mag Instrument, Inc. The project was supported by California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and involved several faculty and students from the College of Environmental Design. This project was a parallel effort with “Green Island Zlarin,” a program to introduce “soft” tourism, ecological farming, solar and wind energy.
