Description
In response to the increased demand for housing and employment near Tijuana, the private firm Grupo Muzquiz proposed a new town with a complete mix of residential, commercial, industrial and open space/recreation. The project included ecological preservation areas, schools, university and civic center. Grupo Muzquiz designed several affordable housing types and owned a variety of industrial projects that would support development of this new community of more than 150,000 residents.
