Description
The Municipality of Benito Juárez Institute of Planning and Urban Development (IMPLAN) sponsored an advisory team through the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) to assist with post-Hurricane Wilma regional planning for the Mayan Riviera. The team created three scenarios based on tourism “Ciudad Turismo”, mixed-use “Ciudad Central”, and communities “Ciudad de Comunidades”.
