Description

Arts & Communication Magnet Academy instructor Jon Gottshall teaches civics classes that include urban planning and design, local governance, citizen participation and other related topics. As part of the curriculum, students participate in a design charrette focusing on a specific project within the City of Beaverton.. Students collaborate with city officials and design professionals, then present their work to the Planning Commission and/or City Council.
